REWILDING Droitwich’s waterways to help nature thrive will form the basis of an upcoming talk hosted by the town’s Civic Society.
Droitwich Civic Society will host a presentation from Paul Leonard Wilkinson, a senior ecologist for the Canal and River Trust, at the ‘Rewilding our Waterways’ talk.
During the presentation, there will be examples of conservation projects and opportunities to recover nature along our waterways from Paul’s 40 years of experience.
Innovative solutions to improve urban environments, precious statutory protected sites, and how to connect species across the country will all be topics of discussion.
Everyone is welcome to join the talk. Tickets cost £5. The talk will be hosted on Tuesday, May 21 (7.30pm) in The Wesley Room of Droitwich Methodist Church on Worcester Road.
