MORE THAN 12,000 people flocked to the Droitwich Food and Drink Festival at the town’s Lido Park between last Friday and Sunday.
There were more than 160 stalls for people to browse – many from local producers from Droitwich and Worcestershire.
A host of other activities took place for all ages and the live music, which include top tribute acts to Pink and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, was particularly popular – especially on the Friday night.
Visitors could try and buy a variety of artisan food, drink and delicacies.
Mark Cookson from Worcester-based Blue Strawberry Events said it was the biggest and best one to date.
“The atmosphere and the weather was fantastic and it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves on a lovely sunny weekend.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all the producers and traders which were there, along with all the customers who came down and supported the event.
“And I would also like to thank my Blue Strawberry team who worked so hard – it would not have been possible without them.”
Blue Strawberry Events has also planned another Droitwich Food and Drink Festival for later in the year – that is scheduled to take place on September 28 and 29.
