RESIDENTS at a Droitwich care home were recently delighted to celebrate famous chocolate maker, Cadbury’s 200th anniversary.

To commemorate this significant occasion, Cadbury launched a series of themed chocolate bars featuring classic packaging designs from different eras of its storied history.

Cadbury provided the delicious treats for residents at Dorset House Care Home who had a brilliant time revelling in the experience.

The classic chocolates brought back fond memories, and the atmosphere was filled with joy as everyone participated in the various activities.

For those at Dorset House in Droitwich Spa, it especially resonated with residents as many of them know someone who worked at the nearby factory in Bournville, Birmingham.

As a tribute to its enduring legacy, Cadbury made a donation of £200,000 to Alzheimer’s Research UK, a charity with a special place in the hearts of everyone at Rotherwood Healthcare – owners of Dorset House.

“We are immensely grateful to Cadbury for including us in their 200th-anniversary celebrations and for their substantial donation to Alzheimer’s Research UK,” said Cheryl Walne, regional manager at Rotherwood Healthcare.

“This gesture not only provided a wonderful day of fun and nostalgia for our residents and staff but also supported a very dear cause.”
