DROITWICH Arts Network wants to thank everyone who made its Dabble Day such a success.
More than 200 visitors went along to the event and the atmosphere was busy as people of all ages tried their hand at a variety of art forms.
Among the activities people were able to ‘have a go’ at were clay modelling, watercolour painting, knitting, fossil painting, spinning, weaving, and a wide variety of art media including expressive acrylic, Brusho and pastels.

A DAN spokesperson said the group received very positive feedback.
“Congratulations to all who took part.
“It was such a happy occasion and the wonderful Droitwich Ukulele Club entertained us with their usual enthusiasm.”
They thanked Alan, Jacqui C, Pauline, Tina, Derek, Rosie, Jane and Karen for encouraging all the youngsters and their parents to create and craft together in such a relaxed atmosphere.
“Thank you too to Rhys for marking the day with photography and all the stewards who had aching fingers with so much clicking.
“If you have not yet participated in a Dabble Day, do think about either offering your talents, or coming along to learn a different skill.
“We can guarantee you a happy and very rewarding time.”

The most popular activity on the day was clay modelling and the DAN team is busy considering dates for more Dabble Days in 2025.
