PEOPLE can get their jewellery, watches and silver valued at a special event being held at the Jinney Ring in Hanbury.
Residents are being urged to take along any unworn, unwanted or broken jewellery, costume jewellery, watches and silver to be examined for free by an expert between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Sunday, November 10.
Geoff Whitefield, a highly experienced fellow of the Jewellery Valuers Association, will be available for free consultations at Jinney Ring between 10.30am and 4.30pm.
Valuation will help anyone considering selling pieces, finally getting around to clearing out that old drawer of ‘stuff’ or those concerned they may be under-insured.
Mr Whitefield has expert knowledge of jewellery, costume jewellery, watches and silver. Even broken items may have some value.
He said: “So many people have jewellery, watches or silverware that they keep meaning to do something about, but don’t know what to do or how to do it.
“On November 10, my team and I will be inviting people to pop in and show us any pieces they are curious about, and offering them a free expert consultation.”
Email Mr Whitefield at [email protected] for more on the day or to discuss larger collections.
