A WHOLE host of council owned car parks across Wychavon are set to offer free parking on selected dates in the lead up to Christmas.
Wychavon District Council has announced plans to make the selected number of car parks free from midday to encourage both residents and visitors to support local businesses in the district.
On Saturday (November 23) all Wychavon long and short stay car parks in Evesham and Droitwich Spa will be free from 12 noon.
On the following Saturday (November 30), all Wychavon long and short stay car parks in Pershore will be free to use from the same time.
And on the first Saturday of next month (December 7) all Wychavon long and short stay car parks in Broadway will be free from the same time.
A spokesperson for Wychavon District Council said: “Grab your bags for life and plan your Christmas shopping trip to some of our fantastic Wychavon towns.
“Let’s support our amazing local businesses. Mark your calendars and make like Santa and fill your boots.”
Parking remains free after 6pm in all Wychavon’s car parks.
