THE CHAIRMAN of Wychavon District Council is calling upon residents to share their stories with him to showcase the spirit of the district at the annual civic service.
Audio messages describing what people love about living in the district will be used as part of a video address played to guests and dignitaries on Sunday, May 11.
Councillor George Duffy wants to hear about the public’s cherished memories, favourite places to visit or even something about the district’s natural surroundings.
Anyone of any age can contribute but permission from a parent or guardian is required if under 18.
Messages will be anonymous but contributors will be asked for their name and contact details so the council knows they are Wychavon residents.
Visit www.wychavon.gov.uk/voices to record your message which must be submitted by May 2.
