Residents of Droitwich Spa and nearby villages are being invited to take part in a free Dementia Awareness Training session later today (Wednesday, September 24).
The event, organised by Age UK Wyvern, will take place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at The Old Library Centre, 65 Ombersley Street East, Droitwich Spa.
The interactive workshop aims to improve understanding of dementia, covering different types of the condition, how it presents at various stages, and practical steps people can take to reduce their risk.
The session also highlights the importance of human rights and focuses on ways to live well with dementia. Organisers hope the evening will help build a stronger, more dementia-friendly community in the area.
