A MAN was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Droitwich yesterday (Thursday).
The collision happened around 12.40pm on Worcester Road when the car left the road.
It is believed the driver had a medical episode at the wheel and when West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics arrived, he was in a critical condition.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.
Police officers and firefighters – who were first on the scene – gave basic life support before ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support.
He was then taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
