A PROLIFIC shoplifter who stole from Droitwich Waitrose, Tesco and Drinks Express stores has been jailed.
Faye Jackson, 51, of Mulberry Tree Hill in Droitwich, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Monday, October 13, where she was given 56 weeks in prison.
On Tuesday 7 October, Jackson was arrested by Droitwich officers following thefts from Waitrose, Tescos and Drinks Express.
She was subsequently charged with three counts of theft from a shop and breaching her Community Behaviour Order.
Sergeant Cathy Atkinson, of Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “The impact that shoplifting has to our community should not be underestimated. It is not just the financial loss that it brings to some businesses, it is also the impact it can have on staff members.
“We will continue to work closely with shops and businesses to provide specialist crime prevention advice, and we remain committed to bringing those responsible before a court”
