A ROAD in Droitwich has been closed because it is dangerous and may cause a serious danger to the public.
Corbett Avenue has been shut by Worcestershire Highways so emergency repairs can be carried out.
The defect was initially reported in September and was made safe as a temporay measure.
A permanent repair is scheduled to begin later this week and will be completed as part of the council’s ongoing maintenance programme.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes, via Tagwell Road and St Mary’s Road.
Access for pedestrians will continue as usual.
