A SUSPICIOUS house fire in Droitwich saw a man taken to hospital.
Three Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews were called at 7:33am this morning (October 22) to a house fire on Farmers Way.
A fire, which was believed to have started in an outside cupboard, was fought by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hosereel jet.
Dampening down took place and all people were accounted for. Police attended due to the suspicious nature of the fire, while the ambulance service were also called.
The fire service left the scene at 10:13.
West Mercia Police have been approached for comment and the force said it would reveal more information later today.
The ambulance service were called at 7.49am, with a man treated for minor injuries before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further checks.
