CYCLISTS in Droitwich can attend two events in the town on Saturday, February 7, aimed at helping them stay safe and protect their bikes.
From 10am to 11.30am, Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at Lido Park, near Little Al’s Cafe.
The team will be on hand so people can have their bikes securely marked for free. Wychavon District Council will also be present.
Then from 12.30pm to 2pm, at the Westlands Community Centre, Meadow Walk, PCSO Pat Holland from Droitwich SNT will be joining Wychavon and Droitwich Cycling, Walking and Wheeling Group at the next Bike Repair Hub.
PCSO Holland will be there to discuss the ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ campaign and why it is important for cyclists to be visible so they can stay safe during the darker evenings.
