A SHOW bringing the magic of Motown to Worcester is set to be staged in support of St Richard’s Hospice.
The Angelettes will bring a high-energy, tribute show – celebrating legendary artists like The Supremes, Martha Reeves, The Vandellas, The Marvelettes and Stevie Wonder – to The Swan Theatre, Worcester, on Friday March 13 from 7.30pm.
A night of feel-good nostalgia, all funds raised will support the care St Richard’s provides to patients, their loved ones and bereaved people across Worcestershire.
Alison Parkes, fundraiser for St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We cannot wait to relive the magic as The Angelettes bring the iconic sounds of Motown to life for our care.
“This award-winning trio’s stunning harmonies, slick choreography and dazzling vocals are sure to get everyone up on their feet.
“Best of all; every penny raised after costs goes towards the expert, compassionate care provided by St Richard’s across the county.”
Hospice fundraisers are encouraging attendees to bring out their best fancy dress too, with prizes on the evening for the best-dressed individuals and groups.
Adult tickets are £31 per person plus a booking fee.
St Richard’s Hospice is an independent charity offering free, expert care for adults with an illness that cannot be cured, and support for their loved ones and carers.
Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,000 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.
It will cost in the region of £12milllion to run the hospice this year, which includes patient care and all the necessary support services.
