Not-for-profit SJ Theatre group opens in Droitwich, offering acting, singing and dance sessions

A NOT-FOR-PROFIT performing arts school has opened in Droitwich to train people of all ages in musical theatre, singing, acting and dance.

Sessions at SJ Theatre Arts Academy CIC (Community Interest Company) are available for children aged three and upwards and for adults at Droitwich Community Hall.

The school aims to inspire confidence, encourage self-expression and nurture talent – from complete beginners to those rediscovering a former passion or developing existing skills.

Classes are fun and led by professionals and there are options to take exams and perform in shows, community events and showcases.

Stuart Inglis, who runs the group, said he was looking forward to the new venture and starting work on the first children’s theatre production of Snow White.
