A DROITWICH under 11s football team has been given a boost by the town’s Specsavers which is providing sponsorship until the end of the 2026/27 season, writes Zaynab Hamdy.
The Droitwich Specsavers team is locally owned and run and has now partnered with the junior side of its community to help support the next generation of the town’s footballers.
The sponsorship sees the opticians provide full kit for Droitwich Football Club Under 11s, enabling the team to focus on the football and thrive.
Specsavers Droitwich store director, Emma Singh said everyone was delighted to be supporting grassroots sport which played such an important role in bringing communities together and helping young people build confidence, stay active and develop important life skills.
