TWO lanes will remain closed for the remainder of the day following a HGV fire on the M5 near Droitwich and Bromsgrove.
Two of the four lanes on the northbound carriageway between Junction 5 (Droitwich) and 4A (Bromsgrove and the M42) are shut.
The fire took place in the early hours of the morning but the recovery of the HGV and clear up are taking longer than expected.
Lanes one and two will remain closed for the rest of the day and emergency resurfacing will take place overnight tonight (May 27).
There are currently delays of 60 minutes and five miles of congestion on the approach.
