DROITWICH Spa suffered a late 2-1 defeat against fellow Step Five side Knowle in the club’s penultimate pre-season friendly.
Zak Parsons scored a late free-kick to settle the contest at Hampton Road.
Knowle led when George Seeley found the net only for Danny Barnes to draw Droitwich level after the break.
However, Parsons fired a low free-kick around the wall and into the bottom right corner from 20-yards out to secure victory for the home side.
Droitwich finish their pre-season campaign against Worcester United on Friday, July 24 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Langlands Avenue.
