FREE summer crafts at Droitwich Spa Heritage Centre

Tristan Harris 27th Jul, 2026   0

THERE will be plenty of free fun crafts during the school summer holidays at Droitwich Spa Heritage Centre.

The venue at St Richard’s House is open between 10am and 3.30pm Mondays to Fridays and from 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.

Among the crafts on offer will be making bookmarks, model bookbenches and making greeting cards.

No booking is necessary, participants can just turn up.

The heritage centre reopened earlier this year after a three-year revamp.

Following a community consultation and a successful application to Wychavon Council’s Community Legacy Grant programme, the centre was extended and the internal layout was reconfigured.

Historic displays and exhibits span from the ice age, iron age, Romans and Anglo Saxons, right up to the modern day.

There is also a detailed history of the town’s famous salt heritage and a display dedicated to the Wychbold Masts and Droitwich’s BBC broadcasting past.
