POLICE in Droitwich are investigating an incident which happened on Saturday afternoon in Homepiece.
Reports were made to officers that a 14-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of youths and his orange Carrera bike.
It happened around 4.20pm.
The victim sustained injuries in the attack and he was taken to A&E at the Worcestershire Royal as a precautionary measure.
He has since been discharged, the bike has been recovered and officers said they were following up several leads relating to the incident.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with any information on the attack or occurrences leading up to it in a bid to piece together what happened.
