AN ‘EGG-STRAVAGANT’ Easter egg trail is being held at the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust’s Lower Smite Farm near Droitwich between 11am and 3pm on Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13.

Admission is £2 per child to the trail which takes participants around the garden and ponds and every child gets a chocolate prize and can make their own birds nest to put it in.

Sadie Carr-Simons, engagement officer for the Trust, said: “Our colleague will even be bringing her friendly sheep, Margaret and Larry, along to meet everyone and we’ll have visiting chicks, rabbits and ducks.”

Families can also learn more about what kinds of animals lay eggs and hear suggestions about what they can do to help the wildlife near their homes.

Lower Smite Farm is situated off the A4538 between Sixways and Droitwich Spa.
