Get fit in 2021 and help raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity with the Air30 anniversary challenge

THE LIFESAVING crew from the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has launched a challenge for people to help raise vital funds for critical care missions in 2021, as part of the organisation’s 30th anniversary year.

The Air30 Airbase Challenge offers four distance options, ranging from 27 to 121 miles, representing the distance between the charity’s three airbases.

Participants can run, jog, walk, swim, cycle (or a combination of them) and select how they complete the chosen mileage – individually or in a group.

Once started supporters will have 30 days to complete the activity and can choose when they take on their challenge between now and May 31.

There will be four challenge options in total, representing three operational airbases across the Midlands – RAF Cosford in Shropshire, Tatenhill Airfield in Staffordshire and Strensham Services on the M5 in Worcestershire.

Each will benefit from a member of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s aircrew allocated as a team leader who will send out regular emails to keep participants motivated in their challenges and on their fund-raising journeys.

Registration costs £5 for individuals, more for groups.
