Hanbury Hall to hold 1970s and 1980s Christmas Party for the festive season

Harry Leach 10th Dec, 2019

THE tinsel is glowing, the laughter is flowing, the Babycham popping and the Slade hits dropping at Hanbury Hall’s 1970s and 1980s Christmas Party theme for the festive season.

The National Trust has created an extravaganza where people can explore the house dressed for Christmases many of us still remember – colour, lights, and tunes galore.

Visitors can also reminisce over their favourite toys from the era and revisit a surprisingly familiar buffet.

Favourite board games from the 1970s and 80s will also be available for visitors to play in the Long Gallery.

Other events will include retro afternoon teas on weekends throughout December, Breakfast with Santa every Saturday morning and gingerbread decorating from December 18 to 23.

Booking is essential by calling 01527 821214.
