All lanes now open on the M5 following earlier closure due to overturned lorry

Ross Crawford 9th Dec, 2019 Updated: 9th Dec, 2019

ALL lanes are now open on the M5 between Junction 9 and Junction 7 following a period of disruption which caused delays of up to an hour.

These were due to a lorry overturning on the motorway closing two lanes (of three).

Highways England is still advising drivers to expect some disruption.

Further incident information is available from Highways England by visiting our www.trafficengland.com website and travel apps, or via our @HighwaysWMIDS regional twitter feed. Our 24/7 contact centre team is also available to provide up to the minute information on 0300 123 5000.
