THE PRIMROSE Hospice has joined forces with local law firms to highlight the importance of people creating a will.
The Make A Will campaign runs throughout October and is being sponsored by FBC Manby-Bowdler Solicitors with support from MAG Solicitors and King Will’s Wills.
Statistics show more than 50 per cent of adults in the UK do not have a will in place and it is hoped the drive will help address the issue in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich and Alcester.
All partnering Solicitors have agreed to waive their initial fees in return for a donation to Primrose Hospice.
Through this campaign people can take advantage of a discount of over 70 per cent on regular will-writing fees. enabling them to create a will more affordable and accessible to the community.
Abi Coulson, the Primrose Hospice’s corporate fund-raiser said “Making a will is such an easy step to securing your future and is the best way to ensure your estate and sentimental belongings are passed down to those closest to you.
“By choosing to create or update your will through this campaign you will not only be securing your own future but also supporting your local hospice.”
