More than 300 knitted Christmas angels to land in Droitwich for people to find

Droitwich Editorial 11th Dec, 2018 Updated: 14th Dec, 2018   0

MORE than 300 knitted angels will land in Droitwich Town Centre next Wednesday, Decemeber 19.

Each one will carry a tag, inviting the finder to take them home and celebrate Jesus’ birth at Christmas.

The event has been organised by Churches Together in Droitwich (CTiD).

There is more information about the project at www.christmasangel.net

For dates and times of the Droitwich churches’ Christmas services, visit www.droitwichchurchestogether.com – the CTiD’s website.

Shirley Searle, from Droitwich Methodist Church and CTiD rep, said when it was done last year – with fewer angels – it was very well received.

“You will be most welcome at any of these services but don’t forget to search for an angel on Wednesday.”

People are being urged just to take one so there are more to go around for others.
