North Worcestershire Rotary Club gets new president for 2018/19

THE ROTARY Club of North Worcestershire has a new president.

During his 2018/19 term David Valentine has vowed to work hard to increase the income for charities and introduce some exciting social events, whilst supporting both local and international charities.

David, who is a keen Rotarian and has previously held positions as both club secretary and president elect, was raised in Chipping Norton but now lives in Bromsgrove.

In 1970 after leaving school he joined the Thames Valley Police and rose to become a detective sergeant on number 5 Regional Crime Squad, dealing with both serious crime and major events.




He served at Marlow, High Wycombe, Carterton in Oxfordshire and retired in 2000.
