PANTO fans are in for a treat in the new year when Droitwich’s Norbury Theatre extends the festive season with its production of Babes in the Wood.

The Norbury Players will present the amateur production by Ron Hall, guaranteed to get audiences cheering, booing and hissing all night.

The show follows the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, his just evil nephew Sir Guy of Gisborne and of course Robin Hood as he tries to capture the heart of Maid Marian.

There are also lots of laughs from comedy duo Much the Millers Son, his girlfriend Rosie Apple and the Norbury’s very own dancing donkey Dudley.

Babes in the Wood will be staged from January 12 to 14, 18 to 21 and 25 to 27.

Performances will be at 7.30pm with 2.30pm matinées each Saturday. The Sunday performances – on January 14 and 21 – will be at 2.30pm only.

Tickets, at £12, are available online at www.norburytheatre.co.uk or by calling 01905 770154.
