THE company responsible for delivering children’s services across Worcestershire has set out its business plan for the next financial year (2021/22).

Worcestershire Children First, owned entirely by Worcestershire County Council, delivers key services including children’s social care, education, early help and fostering.

The business plan will look at improving education with ‘development, improvement and innovation’.

Children First has also promised to continue supporting its work force who have been described as ‘essential’.

Interim chief executive of Children First, Tina Russell, said: “Our business plan outlines how we will keep the vision we have set ourselves as a company to ensure Worcestershire is a wonderful place for all children and young people to grow up in.

“We remain committed to these values – to keep children at the heart of everything we do, value family life, provide good education for all, and protect children from harm.”
