REPORT
This Sunday’s fixtures represented the last games of 2021 and Austin Ex progressed to the semi-finals of the BSA Cup where they will meet Studley Lions after beating Feckenham Sunday 5-3.
And Studley Lions kept themselves in the Worcester Nursing Cup after beating fellow Redditch side Redditch Borough 5-1.
AFC Thomas Brothers reached the final of the Bromsgrove Charity Cup with a 3-2 win against Bromsgrove league side Rubery Athletico.
However, Astwood were beaten 8-2 by Quinton Athletic in the other semi-final – well done on progressing to this stage.
In the Premier Division, Headless Cross Lions beat AFC Walkwood 3-1 to move up one position in the table.
And in Division 1, AFC Windmill hammered Kimal 15-0 with Adam Billingham netting a hat-trick. Elsewhere, Beoley Village beat Redditch Town 6-2 in a match that was tighter than the scoreline suggested and Redditch United Cross beat Feckehnam Athletic 6-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Chris West.
The league will now take a two-week Christmas break and all of the committee would like to wish all players, officials and management a very Merry Christmas and happy and healthy 2022.
