COUNTY motor and agricultural salvage company Adam Hewitt Ltd have become Worcester Warriors’ shirt sponsor as the Gallagher Premiership gets set to resume.

Adam Hewitt Ltd, who are based at Harvington near Kidderminster, will have their name and company logo displayed on Warriors’ shirts –  produced by new kit supplier O’Neills – when English top flight rugby returns with the visit of Gloucester to Sixways on Saturday (August 15).

The partnership extends a relationship between Warriors and Adam Hewitt Ltd that goes back ten years with the partnership expanding rapidly in recent seasons.

“We first got involved with the club around ten years ago, attending several Warriors games both at home and away through invitations from friends, which we thoroughly enjoyed and soon became avid supporters,” said Adam Hewitt, managing director of Adam Hewitt Ltd.

“Our passion continued to grow and after a few years we decided to speak to the commercial team and arrange a hospitality box for the following season, allowing us to mix business with pleasure.

“This only served to cement our dedication and commitment to the team and we decided to retain the box, and additionally promote our relationship with two pitch side boards.

“From then on, we have continued to increase the level of support to the club. We have always felt strongly that our business target market, which is predominately farming related, is centric to the sport and the fan base at the club, and that this would allow us to promote our business further. It’s great to be associated with a local club and all the joint benefits that brings.

The increased support of Adam Hewitt Ltd, a family company established in 1946, during challenging economic has been welcomed by Warriors chiefs.

“Adam Hewitt Ltd have been loyal supporters of the club for a number of years and we are delighted that they have decided to increase that support,” said Peter Kelly, Warriors’ managing director.

“We thank Adam Hewitt for his generosity in these difficult times and look forward to welcoming him, the company and their guests to Sixways when we are able to do so.”
