For every real driver, a car is a second home. We ride in cars to work, eat in them, listen to music and just relax. Not only that, on a long road, a car can literally become a home. When night comes in the middle of the road, and you feel sleepy, the best option is to pull over and sleep. But to do it in the salon, full of unpleasant smells, is not a pleasant pleasure.
The majority of aromatises are filled with different kinds of chemicals, while the interior of your car is made of materials demanding caution: leather, plastic and other polymers. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the fragrance in the cabin so that the additional element does not cause any harm either to the driver with passengers or to the car itself. Car cleaners – clean the air in the cabin of the car from dust, smoke, exhaust fumes and unpleasant odors. These devices prevent the appearance of fungus and mold in the cabin. They are plugged into the cigarette lighter. Some cleaners have extended functionality (humidification, fragrance). Individual cleaners – portable devices equipped with filters and running on battery power. They are made in the form of a mask or a compact body worn around the neck. The masks purify the inhaled air from dust, harmful particles and gases. The housing-like devices repel contaminants and allergens – as a result, the air around the user is purified.
Types of fresheners
Car fragrances can be divided into two types: the first act as neutralisers, containing ingredients that absorb odors that have spread in the cabin. The latter are actually fragrance dispensers – they release a fragrant substance that, only hides, overrides the unpleasant odor in the cabin of the car.
Cardboard or herringbone
In shape, it is most often a herringbone, although there are other figures – butterflies or flowers. Scents can be different, but usually the life of a cardboard freshener is short, and after a couple of weeks, at best a month, the herringbone ceases to exude the scent. But you can change it often, without thinking about the price.
Gel fragrance
A modern form of freshener, which is a plastic bag that contains a fragrance and an atomizer. When you pierce the bag, you get a gradual release of a pleasant odor into the atmosphere. Can be in the form of a plastic container with a perfume composition inside. They can be found in a variety of shapes, funny and original, which attracts them, although the price of gel fragrances is much higher. It can last up to four months.
Perfumed Air Fragrance
An extremely compact fragrance dispenser with a stylish design and a clothespin for attaching to the deflector of the car air conditioning system. Its small size and minimalist design makes it virtually invisible visually, yet it provides the air with excellent aromatic compounds.
Unlike fragrances with gel fillers, it maintains the same intensity of air saturation regardless of temperature, even in very hot seasons. As it wears off, the fragrance cores change.
Aromatic fragrance spray
This spray can be used occasionally, spraying it like a simple room air freshener. Therefore, it is not as convenient as other types of fresheners, but due to the low cost and lifespan up to six months, and if you use it occasionally, even longer. The spray is also quite popular with drivers.
Where to attach a car freshener
Fresheners, which can be hung, are often placed, in addition to the rearview mirror, on a clothes hook, which is much more convenient, because this way it does not interfere with the view.
Containers with gel or chalk content enclosed in them are installed where it is convenient, and where the driver they will not interfere: they are placed or in the cup holder, or put on the shelf of the car door, or in the vicinity of the deflector. In this case, the warm air will reveal aromas better, the fragrance effect will be more effective and the smell itself will be stronger.
Often the freshener is attached directly to the dashboard, only in this case you should be more cautious – the container should not be close to the airbag.
Wounds, which absorb unpleasant odors, can be placed in the ashtray, and then the odor absorber will effectively retain the smell from ten smoked cigarettes, then the contents of the ashtray can be replaced.
