A COMEDY sequel is coming to the Norbury Theatre, following a successful production of the first play in the series.
‘Ladies Day Down Under’ takes place at the Droitwich venue takes place from October 8 to 12 with performances at 7.30pm.
‘Ladies Day’ was at the Norbury last autumn and centres on a fish-filleting foursome heading out for a staff day at the races.
This time, after winning big on the horses, they are celebrating in style with a trip-of-a-lifetime to Australia.
From rainy Hull to the sunny Gold Coast, the ladies are not just embarking on new adventures, they are also discovering a lot more about themselves and each other – often things they ever knew before.
Jan is desperate to be reunited with boyfriend Joe, who has been travelling in Australia for months, Shelley is on a mission to meet a surfing hunk, Linda is fascinated when she comes across an Australian Mardi Gras, whilst Pearl is facing some hidden demons of her own.
Jam packed with jokes, innuendos and loveable characters, the show is billed as ‘one of the best you will see this year’.
Directed by Tony Madden, with a fantastic cast made up of All and Sundry regulars and some new faces, Ladies Down Under is definitely worth a watch.
All and Sundry has members from across Bromsgrove, Redditch, Rubery and Droitwich.
