HUNDREDS of visitors attended Droitwich Arts Network Hub over the weekend to take part in a collaborative health and wellbeing event.
Nearly 200 people attended the Health and Wellbeing Hub last Saturday (22nd February) hosted in collaboration with the region’s NHS Primary Care and Droitwich Arts Networks.
The community were able to enjoy a range of arts and crafts, have their blood pressure checked, and receive health information and advice.
The event brought together Droitwich Arts Network, Droitwich, Ombersley & The Rurals Primary Care Network (PCN) and the Your Health van for some time dedicated to health and wellbeing.
Holly Johnson, Primary Care Network (PCN) Operations Manager, said “The event was a great opportunity for us to connect with the community and bring Primary Care healthcare into the heart of the town.
“It was good to be able to talk to some of our patients about local services, and our team were able to check over 50 people’s blood pressures during the day too.
“A big thanks to Droitwich Arts Network, and their volunteers, for hosting the event. We hope to be able to run similar events in the future”.
