BUDDING historians are encouraged to join a memory-collecting coffee morning in Droitwich to delve into the past of the Westlands area.
The coffee morning from 10.30am to 12pm on Wednesday, March 26 at Westlands Community Hall encourages visitors to share photos and memories of the area.
As part of the coffee morning there will be a short talk, a chance to meet and chat with new and old friends, and enjoy cake and refreshments.
This is a friendly informal event, open to anyone who is curious about Westlands’ past.
It is organised by West Midlands Historic Building Trust (WMHBT) who are also leading a history project to explore the past of Willow Court Farmhouse, previously named Boycott Farm – which is being restored and converted into six flats by 2026.
The historic building is a Grade II listed former farmhouse in the Westlands which will be transformed into affordable homes thanks to funding support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Architectural Heritage Fund, Wychavon District Council and Platform Housing.
