Droitwich is a tremendous town where there is always something going on. There can’t be many towns, particularly of the same size as Droitwich, which boast so many popular events for its residents and also attracts so many visitors. There really is something for everyone whether it is the St. Richard’s Boat and Car Festival, the Friar Street Festival of Culture and Music, Salt Fest or the Droitwich Food and Drink Festival which has been growing year on year.

The Droitwich Standard is proud to promote all these events and get involved where we can. Only last year we ran a Junior Journalism competition to encourage young people to get into writing – just one of many drives we have done in Droitwich.
