A LAUGH-OUT-LOUD musical, using puppets similar to a children’s show but featuring strong language and adult themes is coming to Droitwich’s Norbury Theatre.
Avenue Q, billed as ‘close to the mark and not at all PC’, centres on college graduate Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment.
He soon discovers although the residents are nice, it is not an ordinary neighbourhood.
Princeton and his new-found friends to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.
It is similar to a famous children’s show where puppets are friends, monsters are good and life lessons are learned.
The show runs from Wednesday to Saturday, June 13 to 16, and between the following Wednesday and Saturday, June 20 and 23.
Tickets, which range from £12 to £14, are available online at www.norburytheatre.co.uk or from the box office on 01905 770154.
The show is suitable for those aged 14 and over and parental guidance is advised.
