THE 1st Droitwich Scouts have received a £1,000 to spruce up their headquarters from Persimmon Homes South Midlands’ monthly Community Champions scheme.
The developer is currently building properties in Droitwich and is keen to support the local community.
Scout leader Louise Price said the group was very grateful to Persimmon Homes for its donation.
“Our hut is in need of repair and we are in dire need to raise funds to replace our electrics and update our toilet facilities.”
