A DROITWICH pub has undergone refurbishment, bringing 20 new jobs to the local area.
The Castle in Droitwich Spa, Worcester Road will officially reopen at 11am on Monday, January 8 2024 following three months of renovations.
The venue will be the first in the UK to launch under a new concept – Seared – from pub company Greene King, which aims to bring drinks and dishes from around the world, closer to home.
A new look interior will be the backdrop for cuisines from Turkey, India, Korean, Spain and more.
Natalia Perez, brand director at Greene King, said: “We can’t wait to launch our latest concept, Seared, at The Castle in January.
“Following a huge appetite for global food trends over recent years, Seared will offer the chance to experience a world of flavours in the relaxed setting of a much-loved local pub.”
Rebecca Hall, general manager of The Castle, added: “We’re excited to finally open our doors once again in January.
“Whether you’re a returning regular or a new guest ready to discover the food and drink on offer, The Castle remains a local community pub at heart, and we’ll continue to offer a warm welcome to all, no matter the occasion.”
