£2,000 worth of power tools stolen from van in Ombersley

ALMOST £2,000 worth of gardening power tools were stolen out of a vehicle parked on its owner’s driveway.

Thieves got into the white Transit panel van on Chestnut Walk, Ombersley, between 8pm on October 26 and 6.50am on October 27.

Among the items stolen was a top handle Stihl chainsaw worth £526, a £227 Dewalt drill in a black and yellow box with a battery charger, Stihl chainsaw worth £517 and a pair of Stihl work trousers valued at £176.

As well as this, a £30 pair of bolt cutters, Stihl leaf blower worth £225, a pressure washer valuing £113.79 and two batteries costing £100 were taken.
