A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods in Droitwich following a warrant carried out in Worcester.
The 21-year-old was arrested for theft of motor vehicle, handling stolen goods and theft.
He was apprehended during a warrant at an address in Berkeley Close, Whittington, on December 31, 2024 and was bailed pending further enquiries.
The warrant was executed following a ram raid to a garage that happened at an address on Farriers Way, Droitwich on December 28.
Two motorbikes that were stolen in that incident were recovered and will shortly be returned to their owner.
Police Sergeant Cathy Atkinson of Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) said: “We are pleased to have quickly recovered the stolen motorbikes taken in a ram raid on Farriers Way between Christmas and New Year.”
