ADVENTUROUS families can explore their wild sides with a variety of activities at Lower Smite Farm over half-term, writes Shivani Chaudhari.
The events have been organised at the Martin Hussingtree reserve in the run up to this year’s 30 Days Wild, an annual programme which encourages everyone to make nature a part of their lives every day throughout June.
The Worcestershire Wildlife Trust (WWT) which runs the reserve has created a self-guided trail consisting of 30 different activities for families.
The child-friendly trail includes a wildlife garden, pond, orchard, meadow and small woodland offering several fun and interactive challenges.
Children will be able to charm a worm, spot a bird, hunt a bug and chase a butterfly.
The trails and activities, which cost £2 per child, are available between 11am and 3pm on Thursday and Friday, May 30 and 31.
There is no need to book.
