MORE THAN 500 cannabis plants were seized by police on a Droitwich business park yesterday.
Officers from Kidderminster Safer Neighbourhood Team, a County Lines Team and Rapid Entry Task Force officers executed the warrant on the Rushock Trading Estate.
As the door to the building was reinforced, the officers smashed their way through a brick wall to gain access.
Three men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
Det Insp Colin Berry said: “We want people to be aware that drug cultivation and dealing will not be tolerated in Worcestershire or the wider West Mercia Police area.
“The fact we smashed through the wall to get around the reinforced door clearly shows the lengths we will go to when it comes to keeping drugs off our streets.”
As well as the 500 plants – which will now be destroyed, growing equipment, such as heat lamps, were also seized.
