CCTV costing £5,422.56 is to be introduced in two areas of Droitwich following Monday’s Town Council Meeting.
Members agreed the scheme on Monday which would see the shipping containers on the Copcut Park Compound covered by cameras. That would cost £3,876.96 including VAT.
And St Richard’s House and Tourist Information Centre, using £1,545.60 worth of funding, will be covered by four HD cameras.
Further CCTV coverage is also being considered for the allotment sites at Westwood and Chawson Lane to combat thefts, vandalism and fly-tipping.
