Air Ambulance called after lorry and pedestrian collision

AT 3:21pm this afternoon, West Midlands Air Ambulance was called to attend a road traffic collision between a man and a lorry on Roman Way in Droitwich.

The man, who is believed to be in his early 30’s, is currently being treated at the scene.

He is believed to have sustained serious injuries.

A second person, who was also involved, has been hurt but the extent of their injuries remain unknown.




Roads between the Homebase and Copcut Islands on the A38 (Roman Way) have been closd for now.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We are dealing with the serious traffic collision.


“The main road is closed both ways and are likely to be for some time.

“Please avoid this area if possible and consider alternative route.”
