A WREATH was laid on Armistice Day (Friday, November 11) at Wychbold Sports and Social Club.
The event was organised by Wychbold Royal British Legion.
A raffle to help the Wychbold RBL assist ex-servicemen and women was also held.
Members also unveiled a plaque to Wychbold First School in Rememberance of the people from Wychbold lost in World Wars and other conflicts.
A party was also held at the club on Friday night – all in aid of the Poppy Appeal,
Today (Sunday, November 13), a service of Remembrance will be held at St Mary De Wyche Church.
Chairman Les Colley described the day as very emotional but said it was all worth it.
He thanked the residents of Wychbold for their continued support.
