WESTERN Power Distribution has apologised to Droitwich residents and businesses who were left without electricity on Tuesday (March 17).
More than 700 properties in the WR9 postcode were affected after a powercut which happened at 4pm following a fault. The electicity distribution operator managed to restore power for the majority within 15 minutes, more were back on by 4.30pm and the final few had their electric returned by 7.12pm.
“We are sorry for any disruption caused.” said a spokesperson.
