Droitwich Editorial 28th Oct, 2018   0

AN APPEAL has been launched by the Droitwich Royal British Legion for volunteers to help with this year’s Poppy Appeal.

Collections will take place in the town between Monday, October 29, and Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, November 11.

Sandy Laird said: “If anyone can spare a couple of hours helping with the appeal we would be very grateful.”

Anyone who can help or anyone wanting more information should call Mel Bates on 01386 792414 or 07768 596754.

Anyone wanting to lay a wreath on a loved-one’s grave or at the war memorial on Remembrance Sunday should also contact Mel.
