A MAN has been arrested after an assault in Ombersley which saw the victim attacked in their home.
At around 2.30pm on Saturday (March 14) a man entered a property on Apple Tree Walk and assaulted the occupant before leaving the area.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is now on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Matthew Robinson said: “Following our appeal last week a man has now been arrested in connection with the assault in Ombersley.
“I understand that an incident such as this will have brought great concern to the local community of the village and I would like to reiterate that we believe this was an isolated incident and there was no wider risk to the public.”
