ARREST - Driver stopped in Wychbold had 'taken vehicle without consent'

A SUSPECT has been apprehended in Wychbold after collaboration between Worcestershire’s operational patrol unit and a specialist West Midlands Police team.

A dark grey Toyota (pictured) was stopped by West Mercia’s operational unit after receiving information from West Midlands’ central motorway police group.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of taking the vehicle without the owners contest. The vehicle was recovered and will be returned to the owner.

The central motorway police group are a specialist team from West Midlands Police, who are responsible for policing the M5, M6, M6 Toll, M54, the Aston Expressway, the M42 and the A500.
